Bounce rate is up with marketing campaign visitors (other than PPC)
|
Learned so far:
- Site conversions are down but traffic is not
- Site conversion rates are down
- Bounce rates increased for selected campaign channels, other than PPC
|
Next steps:
This wizard ends here. But you should check with Marketing on the following:
- Did you recently make changes to your campaigns that now experienced the increase in bounce rates? For example, you may have changed ad copy / creative, placements, promotions, email target lists etc?
- Ponder whether these changes may have shifted your reach or click-throughs to a different audience? The new audience may not be appreciating your offering?
- Or you may need to adjust your messaging or offers on your landing page for this audience. Experiment!
- Alternatively, had you recently changed your campaign landing pages? Then these changes may obviously have been adverse. Experiment with rolling your changes back
- Ask Unica NetInsight: whether errors increased on landing pages?
- Ask site performance tool: whether response is slower than usual?
