Start: Your site conversion rates are down. First investigate bounce rates

Learned so far:

  • Site conversions are down but traffic is not
  • Therefore, site conversion rates must be down
  • We have the results from a site conversion funnel report comparing current vs. most recent 'OK' period

Next question:

Per the starting assumption of this wizard, the first slice of our funnel, i.e. 'All visits', should be stable vs. previous period. However, is there a significant increase in bounced visits (i.e. leaks from 1st to 2nd funnel slice have increased)?

Why are we asking?

An increase in bounces suggests that you are either attracting the wrong people now, or alternatively, you might have made adverse changes to your landing page(s)
